Obstacle course

It was a brilliant day here on the coast so we decided to get outside and have some fun. We made an obstacle course out of P.E. equipment. We had to run, jump, slide and twist to make it through.

Happy Father's Day!

We hope you all had a lovely Father's day! We were busy making tic tac toe games for our loved ones.

We made these out of plywood, paint, vivid and stones. To keep all the pieces together, we put the game in a fancy bag.

Happy Father's day!

Changing of the seasons

This terms focus is all about change! We have been looking at the changing of the seasons. We were placed in groups and given a season to carefully think about.

We had to think of words relating to our season and our five senses. We then drew a picture relating to the season. We put all of our words into cool text, printed them out, cut and then glued them onto colored backing paper.

We then had the tricky task of making our words and pictures into a mobile. Have a look at the pictures below of the final result. Better yet, come and have a look for yourself, we would love to show you!

Discovery Time Looks Like...?

Room 4 has been looking at our class rules and what those class rules look like during discovery time.

- what does a positive mindset look and sound like during discovery time?
- what does it look and sound like when we are respectful, responsible and resilient during discovery time?
- what does it look like when we are being responsible during discovery time?

Room 4 went to Shantytown to learn about different types of communication! We had a blast dressing up, travelling on the train and using the old school.

Snow Day

We were lucky enough to have snow on the 4th August 2019! I was sitting having lunch in town when I saw the snow fluttering down on the town. I quickly ate lunch and headed towards the mountains. I wanted to find more snow to play in. All the children in Room Four enjoyed the snow, making snow men and having snow ball fights. We were all hoping the snow would stick around but it seemed to melt as fast as it arrived. Maybe someday soon we can have another amazing experience like we have just had.

Welcome Back!

We are so excited to be back and into action! This week we are looking at how our class rules link to different areas of learning in the classroom. Stay tuned to see pictures of our new class display and blog posts about our learning so far.
